It’s been a wild ride for the ‘A Bronx Tale’ cigar - most recently the cigar got the attention of Cigar Aficionado, one of the world’s most renowned authorities on all things cigar related.
The article coincides with the release of a regularly produced version of the cigar, which was previously only available as a special edition, limited run of 2,500 boxes. Here is the description as provided by Cigar Aficionado:
‘The original release came in boxes of 10, and was limited to 2,500 boxes. The new, regular-production version comes in boxes of 20. The cigars are rolled in the Dominican Republic by Epic Cigars at Tabacalera Von Eicken S.R.L. They are distributed by Epic Cigars, and are made in collaboration with Paul DiSilvio of La Casa Grande cigars, in the Bronx, New York. Ecuadorian Habano wrappers, Dominican binders, and a harmonious mix of fillers sourced from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
