Chazz Palminteri’s A Bronx Tale Sonny, and once again gets its name from the actor’s best-known work, “A Bronx Tale,” which started as the one-man show that Palminteri wrote based on his own childhood. He wrote the screenplay for the movie of the same name that was released in 1993,, who starred in the film. The Sonny part of the name comes from the character that Palminteri played. His Mob Boss/ Mentor that was like a father figure.


The cigar is a 6 x 54 box-pressed toro made by Tabacalera Von Eicken S.R.L. in the Dominican Republic. It uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper, a Dominican binder, and a filler blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.


Pricing is set at $25 per cigar and $300 for a box of 12 cigars. Zander-Greg Inc., which is distributing the cigars, said that the initial production run was 1,000 boxes, but in January said that the line could eventually become a regular production offering.
